Grounding Into Change

October invites us to slow down, honor cycles of change, and release what no longer serves us—just as the trees let go of their leaves. It’s a powerful time to ground, reflect, and nourish body, mind, and spirit.
Yoga focus:
Tree Pose (Vrksasana) – steadiness in transition
Eagle Pose (Garudasana) – weaving balance
Yogi Squat (Malasana) – grounding release
Meditation:
The Art of Letting Go—softening into stillness, creating space for renewal.
What grounds me right now?
Where in my life do I need more steadiness?
Integrating This Theme Beyond the Mat:
Journaling: Write down three things you feel grateful for and one habit or thought you’re ready to release.
Retreat Practice: When we step into nature—whether among vineyards in the South of France, Pawleys Island or a quiet local park—we connect more deeply to the seasonal cycle of harvest and renewal.
Daily Ritual: Begin your day with barefoot grounding—stand outside, feel your feet on the earth, and take 5 breaths repeating: “I am steady, I am supported.”
